Stranded copper complying with BS6360, class 2

1.5-25mm² circular stranded

35-400mm² shaped stranded

5 Core

1.5-70mm² circular stranded

2. Insulation

Extruded XLPE complying with BS7655:section 1.3 type GP8

3. Lay-up and bedding

2,3 & 4 Core

1.5-25mm² circular stranded. The cores are laid up in a righthand direction with extruded bedding.

35-400mm² shaped stranded. The cores are laid up in a right handdirection with tape bedding.

5 Core

1.5-70mm² circular stranded.  The cores are laid up ina right hand direction with extruded bedding.

4. Armour

A single layer of galvanized steel wire is laid in a left handdirection

5. Sheath

Black PVC complying with BS 7655: section 4.2, type 9
